Agbiz continues to work closely with the National Department of Agriculture to align industry support with government-led FMD response efforts across provinces. Agbiz has been coordinating priority needs, responding to growing requests from private-sector stakeholders for biosecurity equipment, and mobilising member contributions through a structured, transparent outreach initiative.
A formal briefing was issued to Agbiz members outlining priority requirements, governance arrangements, and mechanisms for financial and in-kind support, ensuring accountability and coordination through official response structures.

Overall, Agbiz is reinforcing its role as a trusted conduit between government and industry, ensuring coordinated, responsible deployment of resources in support of national FMD response objectives.
