At the ISF President’s Dinner on 17 May, Dr. Lukeshni Chetty, General Manager of SANSOR, was awarded Honorary Life Membership of the International Seed Federation (ISF) — one of the highest honours in the global seed industry.

This prestigious recognition is reserved for individuals who have made exceptional contributions to both ISF and the advancement of the global seed sector. Previous recipients include distinguished leaders such as Hiroshi Sakata (President of Sakata Seed Corporation) and Mary Ann Sayoc (Head of Partnerships and Alliances at East-West Seed).

Dr. Chetty received the award alongside Mario Schindler, Executive Director of the Chilean Seed Association. SANSOR extends its congratulations to Mr Schindler and the Chilean seed industry on this notable achievement.

Since joining the ISF Board in 2022, Dr. Chetty has served with dedication and passion, contributing meaningfully to the organisation’s work and strategic direction. This lifetime honour recognises her significant impact on ISF and the global seed industry, as well as her commitment to advancing both regional and international objectives within the sector.
